I was born and raised in Munich, Germany, where I received my Diplom (German equivalent to master) in sociology, psychology and pedagogics at LMU München. Then I went on to complete a Master’s program in Ethnology at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
I qualify for treating clients as a „Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie“ Furthermore, I am in ongoing clinical training with the International Psychotherapy Institute (approved by the American Psychological Association).
I am a qualified Ego State Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. I work from a psychodynamic foundation, but use an integrative approach: One therapy doesn’t suit all. By utilizing system therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques symptoms can be targeted and overall well-being can be improved.
I work with individuals and couples, at my private practice and online. I am a compassionate and thoughtful professional who approaches life’s work with a sense of humor. I also believe in the strong connection between body and soul. Having lived abroad myself for many years, I have a deep understanding for cultural challenges.
As a therapist, I am not the problem solving „authority“. I encourage my patients to work together with me to unravel meaning and enhance awareness. Thereby the client can discover and create effective and authentic choices. I support the resiliency of those in difficult situations.
Any crisis is an opportunity.
